We just returned from our 12 Day Kaleidoscope of Ireland. We loved it! Our tour guide, Edwina, was excellent. She was knowledgeable, professional, helpful, cheerful, and gracious. Her former profession as a teacher was evident - Gate 1's advantage, but a loss to the teaching profession. We came away with an appreciation of all things Irish - the history, the beauty, the culture, the language, the food, and, of course, the drink. While we had a day of difficult weather, she and our driver were calm and problem-solving. Speaking of our driver, Peter, we felt very safe in his capable hands. He handled that bus like it was a car. Our accommodations were very good and we felt welcomed everywhere. I would not hesitate to recommend this trip to friends and family.

Our trip was wonderful! Our tour guide, David, was outstanding. He provided us with all the history, folklore and high points of all 3 countries while constantly keeping us entertained with music, trivia and jokes. He went above and beyond. Gerard, our driver, is the most skilled driver I've ever met. Always pleasant, happy and helpful, too. No disappointments, other than the fog at the cliffs of Moher , but that couldn't be helped. Highlights for us were the countryside and castles, our shortbread and tea stop in Scotland, the Titanic museum in Belfast, and the pubs and sheepdog demonstrations in Ireland. I was happy to meet PJ of Sweney's pharmacy fame at Kennedy's pub in Dublin. Gate 1 certainly finds the best people to make our vacations memorable.

Please convey to David Seagraves our thank you for the wedding anniversary song he played for us on 10/28. Went to thank him two times and forgot each time to thank him. David is, by far, the best tour guide that we have ever had in all our travels. Each day David invited us to join him during his free time to see more of the city. We have never experienced that before this trip. He had the group interact with his "Name the State." He played such great music during the drives that included songs related to Scotland and Ireland. If it was a person's birthday or wedding anniversary, he played an appropriate song. I loved his "Write A Limerick" contest. He sat and visited with the group and/or bus driver during the meals. I had a chance to talk with others after the tour. One man said David was by far the best tour guide he and his wife had had. One lady said David "was the best." Another traveler said David was great. A couple we traveled with heard a lady on the street in one of our cities say she had heard of David and wish he had been her tour guide. I loved his play on words. David has a good reputation. He knows his job very well and made our trip fun, interesting, and showed and explained the sights. He is personable, and he represents your company very well. Our bus driver, Gerard, was the best bus driver I have ever had. He was very personable, humorous, and drove safely. Will you email me that you passed my words on to the tour guide.

Our trip was FANTASTIC!!! There were 33 of us and we all got along so well!! No prickly personalities, no estrangements, no tardiness, just pure fun. Our tour manager David was amazing. He was so much fun and so knowledgeable. His jokes (no matter how bad), his music and the info he shared with us was so enjoyable. He made our group seem like one big happy family. He was always prompt, if not early, his communication with us was excellent. His passion for the United Kingdom was very evident and he was so good at sharing that. He set a very good pace for all of us and we saw so much. Our bus driver, Jared, was excellent as well. His rapport with David was so strong and the two of them made our trip extremely enjoyable. Jared worked so hard managing our luggage and was an amazing driver on the windy, narrow roads of Scotland and Ireland. He always looked out for our safety when crossing busy roads. He was always prompt and very helpful. Our tour guide in Glasgow, John, was so passionate and informative about his city. He is so proud of how Glasgow has grown during his lifetime and that pride clearly came through. His stories about legends added quite a bit of color for us and we really enjoyed his guidance around Glasgow.

I am writing about a tour we took in October from Dublin to Belfast and back again. The tour was amazing, but our guide was even more so. Sheila was flat out amazing. I hope Gate 1 knows that it has a superstar tour guide in the company. Sheila was kind, super organized, considerate, funny, engaging and loved by all on the tour. Our coach driver, Tony, was very professional but took the time to engage with everyone. Both Tony and Sheila were great ambassadors for Gate 1 and also for Ireland. Well done Gate 1 and we'll done Sheila and Tony!

The trip was fantastic!

The trip was great. We have covered lot of places an happy to be able to see UK and Ireland. The driver and the tour manager were excellent and knowledgeable.I would recommend this trip anyone who is interested seeing UK and Ireland. Eric, the tour manager is outstanding in managing the trip and providing in-depth analysis of various places. Joe, the driver, is outstanding in driving. He was able to manage to drive through narrow roads and mountains and hills.I would be happy to take another trip with GATE1, in fact I have reservations to see Portugal and Spain and then Japan next year. Thank you GATE1 for providing my wife and I with great European experience, This was my third trip with GATE1 and two more to go next year and so on.

Out trip was wonderful! We went to so many beautiful places and had so many wonderful experiences, thank you. Our Tour Manager, Mathew was a fountain of knowledge and a great guide for each place we visited. He also surprised the group with many little touches and stops along the tour. We will look forward to another Gate 1 trip sometime in the future. Thank you for all of your help in planning the trip.

Our trip to Ireland was wonderful! My sister said it was the best thing she had ever done. Everyday was chock full of interesting activities, foods, scenery and memories. Our guide, Peter, was fantastic, informative and fun; he made every experience comfortable and added some extra surprise experiences that made our trip special. We had to be flexible due to weather, but there was plenty to do and we received a prompt refund for one cancelled event. Our coach driver, Dermot, was also a pro. He safely maneuvered us through flooding, narrow roads with great confidence and humor. All of the hotels we used were top notch and located conveniently to see local sites (and pubs!) during free time. I can't believe how much of Ireland we were able to experience in one week and my friends don't believe me when I tell them how reasonably priced the trip was with everything included. They all want to sign up for the next one! We'll be back soon!

I had an INCREDIBLE time! I cannot wait to book my next trip with you all; I've already been looking into the Kaleidoscope Tour for Scotland and I'm excitedly waiting for the 2025 dates to be released! Honestly, I wouldn't even be opposed to doing another tour of Ireland just because of how AMAZING it was! One of the most important things that made this trip so wonderful was our Tour Manager, Matthew, and our Bus Driver, Eddie. Eddie's driving was VERY impressive, and it was always a smooth ride no matter how small the roads got. He was kind to everyone, always had a smile on his face, took the time to get to know each of us on a more personal level at breakfast, on the excursions or during down time. He truly seemed to love his job and was passionate about getting all of us to our destination safely. His goodbye speech to us was very moving, genuine, and heartfelt! Cronins is very lucky to have Eddie as an employee; he promotes a very positive image for their company and Gate 1 by association. Matthew was the best Tour Manager any of us could have asked for, honestly! He was not only very knowledgeable, diligent, and dedicated, but he was resourceful, charismatic, and thoughtful. He had many different surprises for us throughout the tour that were not on the itinerary; one of which was probably my favorite thing we did (apart from Slieve League - that beauty is pretty much unbeatable). The sheep dog demonstration was such a cool activity, and if he didn't surprise us with that side trip, I wouldn't have had the opportunity to experience it otherwise. Matthew even anticipated a potential hiccup in the scheduled itinerary and made a change that saved all of us from the hurricane that past over during the trip and an incoming cruise ship with thousands of passengers. This forethought gave us all a BEAUTIFUL day at Blarney Castle to explore the grounds without massive crowds or torrential downpours, and we all very much appreciated that! Lastly, the personal stories Matthew shared with us about his family, holiday traditions, and life growing up in Derry during the troubles were very touching. He didn't have to do that. I'm sure all of us would understand, if the Tour Managers wanted to keep their personal lives private; but because he shared those stories, it helped us get a better understanding of life in Ireland. Plus, he would sometimes follow up his stories with a little treat he bought for us; weather it was fudge, lollipops, or even scratch tickets to honor his late grandmother. It was very sweet and yet another thing he did that went above and beyond his role.

Fantastic!!! More than I had ever imagined! Aoife was so wonderful!! She was informative, funny and kept us all organized . We loved the Border collie demonstration and our dairy farm visit. I look forward to using Gate 1 again.

I wanted to commend my scheduling agent Michael for helping me with my trip details so professionally and knowledgably. I also wanted to commend our trip leader Linda who was phenomenal in all her efforts and dealings with this Ireland tour . She made our experience so wonderful and we fell in love with the Irish people due to her, she is the BEST!!! I also want to commend our driver Tony who was extremely talented in navigating our trips.

Our tour guide, Linda was so good, very informative and friendly and really doing everything she could to help us get the most out of our trip. She would get us on the road early, not so early to be inconvenient, but early to get ahead of all the other tour busses. That worked out several times where we would get to a destination and then watch other tours pouring in. Also, our bus driver Tony did an excellent job. We really felt very safe as he drove and worked his way though some pretty tight situations. The weather of course does what it wants, we saw rain almost every day, but it did not spoil the trip. We really only had one day where the rain was most of the day. But that was also a day we were on the bus quite a bit. The hotels were all very nice. We saw everything we wanted to see. Apparently, some people thought the Book of Kells would be included and were disappointed it was not. But we looked into that before we left and scheduled a tour and viewing of the Book of Kells ahead of time. That was a pretty simple message to Gate 1 to find out if it was included, and the response said it was not so we knew we should book it ourselves if we wanted to be sure to see it. Everyone on the tour had nothing but good things to say about Gate 1. We plan to use Gate 1 for future travel and will recommend it to anyone we know who is planning a trip. Just to emphasize, Linda really made the trip be top notch. She always made us feel like she was doing her best to bring us the most enjoyable and complete tour possible.

This was my first trip with Gate1 and I had high expectations from friends who travelled with Gate 1 before and I was not disappointed. Our tour guide Sheila and steerologist (coach driver) Peter were both exceptional. I can't say enough how they made the trip so great. Sheila was so knowledgeable and funny and professional. She was just incredible. Peter was the same. How he maneuvered that coach bus was amazing. And he added so much fun to the whole trip. They are both 10 out of 10!! I wish Sheila and Peter could be my tour guide and coach driver for every trip in all of Europe. The staff at the hotels (at reception and meal staff) were all so helpful and kind as well. Everyone at Gate 1 from making the reservations, asking questions, verifying information were all just great. Khristiene is the best tour guide we've ever had. She is a shining star for Gate1 and reflects very well on your company. She went over and above everyday to ensure our best possible experience. We were never confused about when and where we should be. But her main quality is her ability to communicate with her travelers in a very informative and cheerful way. She is definitely a shining ambassador for Gate1. In addition, she could easily be the official historian for Ireland - her story telling (with no written notes) was incredible. Thank you for the nice trip.

All 12 of us had a magical time. It was better than we could ever imagine. Gate 1 did an awesome job from beginning to end. Pack full with lots of touring, meals, drinks and everything in between. Everything ran like clockwork and we came home with many beautiful memories to share forever. We are already starting to plan our next trip so you will be hearing from us soon.

The trip was absolutely everything I was hoping for. Ireland was grand. All the transfers were seamless. The tour manager and the bus driver were exceptional. John shared so much about Ireland: its history, its current, culture, made great recommendations for evening venues. Damian was a maser with that big coach!!! What an incredible value! This was my first Gate 1 experience, but certainly not my last.

Our trip was wonderful. Well organized, well planned and most of all well managed. Our guide Joanne was excellent. She went above and beyond to make sure that we were having a good experience in Ireland and doing it with a smile and a ready laugh. We are already planning our next trip with Gate1.

We had a great trip. Patrick and Tony were both great. Patrick had tons of useful knowledge and was always courteous and friendly. I believe everyone on our tour enjoyed having him as our guide. Luckily we didn't have any problems and did not need him to do anything extra. He offered great advice on restaurants to try or places to check out. Patrick also kept everyone on schedule and was aware when a cruise ship was set to tour Blarney castle and get us in there before the ship so there wasn't a huge line. I can tell that he has been doing this for a long time and he seems to enjoy his job. The bus was in great working order. Fortunately the weather ended up being perfect, if too warm. If we do another tour we'll definitely use Gate1 again and recommend it to friends. The hotels were all nice, especially the Mespil since it had air conditioning. The Clayton had a better location to the tourist areas that made it more walkable. But both were near pubs and public transportation.

I am truly one very satisfied customer of 19 trips, with three more booked. You live up to your moto more of the world for less! I would like to make special mention of our tour director Linda. Linda's attention to detail, and her lovely commentary's as we drove through the Irish countryside made this tour one if the best I have been on. Thank you.

Just wanted to give a positive feedback for Sheila. She was the best tour guide so far from all our gate one trips. Very knowledgeable about history, politics and culture of Ireland. Her delivery was excellent. we used to look forward to her talks on the bus. She was kind and cheerful all the time yet firm to keep us all follow her instructions. I still use her phrase "On and gone".

Maureen our tour manager was excellent. She even managed to acknowledge my 75th birthday, which was the day I was flying home. She seemed to care about all of us and our comfort. Our driver, Patrick, was excellent, not to mention very funny. Maureen and Patrick added to the enjoyment of the trip.

The tour was wonderful. The Tour Guide and bus drivers were fabulous. The scenery was fantastic; the hotels were very nice. The tour guide was very knowledgeable of the history of Ireland; and was also able to manage every day from the various stops, the food. We were also on time every day to each tourist area.

This was a second Gate 1 tour, this one was a family trip to Ireland. Unusual to have two young people on a Gate 1 but our guide, as well as others on our trip, could not have been more welcoming. I just want to PRAISE your professionals working this trip. Ann Marie was absolutely a shining star. Having her as our guide left me with complete confidence and trust in traveling. No question was too small, no problem was too big. She was efficient, relatable, welcoming, funny, caring and concerned about EVERYONE. Also so knowledgeable regarding the history, culture, people geography of Ireland. We learned so much. Our driver John worked seamlessly with Ann Marie, they were an outstanding team. He was able to navigate the traffic, got us to places safely and on time or early and knew all the "ins and outs' of the traffic and routes.

This was our third tour with Gate 1 and we were once again very impressed all facets of our trip. Special kudos to Anne Marie, our tour manager. She was simply fabulous; knowledgeable, articulate, witty, and very much dedicated to insuring that each one of us had a comfortable, organized experience. Whenever we reflect on our visit to Ireland, we will of course think of its beauty and its history and culture, but we will also remember Anne Marie for making our visit so special. She is truly extraordinary.

Jackie was our tour manager, and we just want to let you know how fantastic she was! She made our first Gate 1 trip, a trip to remember! Jackie was so fun, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout our entire 16-day trip. Our driver through Hannon, Robbie, was just as fun, knowledgeable, and helpful. These two people are great representatives and treasures of Gate 1 Travel.

Lenny was amazing! He brought Ireland and its history to life. The week flew by and our group (11 people) could not be happier. We plan to take another tour of Scotland with Gate1 as long as Lenny is our guide!

Our trip to Ireland was awesome! It was more wonderful than we could ever imagine, and that was all due to our tour director, Edwina, and our bus driver, Damien. Edwina's knowledge of Ireland and its history was fascinating and amazing. We cannot say enough about the terrific job she did. We were also amazed at Damien's driving skills. The way he maneuvered the bus around corners and on narrow roads was outstanding!

This was our first trip with Gate1; we'd heard many good things about the organization, and we've had several friends who have, collectively, taken many, many trips - all with good reviews. Overall, we had a great time, met some fun people, and saw a lot of Ireland in a short amount of time. Alacoque and Tony, our driver, were immensely qualified for this trip; his driving brought many rounds of applause in tight situations, and getting us to our destinations in good shape. He was very friendly and a nice person to go on a trip with. We can't say enough good things about Alacoque; she was friend, mother-figure, and a great source of information about Ireland. No matter what we asked her, she knew the answers, whether it was story or facts about an area or custom. Funny and fun, too! Yes, it was hard to be on a schedule when we're on vacation, but we understood her reasons for wanting to be on the road early. We were glad to have a mix of 1 and 2-night hotel stays, also, and dinners in and dinners on our own. We'll look forward to another trip with Gate1!

This was my first trip with Gate 1 & I couldn't ask for a better time, everything was so well planned. It was busy & active & we saw so much. I was a solo traveler, this was the perfect group to be with! Our tour guide Matthew sure knows his history of Ireland & you can tell he's very proud of his country. He had special stops planned & surprises every day. I'll never think of Ireland again without thinking of Matthew & his joke & good nature & Blarney! I think he's kissed the stone many times! The rich rolling country side, sheep & cows grazing on the greenest grass - no wonder the butter & cheese are so delicious. The castles & ruins tell the story of a tumultuous past but yet the people are so very warm & fun loving. I can't wait to go back!

I just completed the survey you sent me but I want to make sure I put in an extra word for Linda, our tour guide/director. She was above and beyond my expectations in terms of knowledge and organization. She is a fantastic storyteller, providing just the right amount of facts and information and just the right amount of general storytelling. She managed our group of 40 expertly, providing relevant information and tips for those who had mobility challenges and for those who did not. Everyday she made a new seating chart for the bus which eliminated people feeling pressure to line up to get "good seats" (not that there are bad seats). This simple solution eliminated potential drama. Linda was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make sure we were 100% happy and satisfied. She is a treasure. John, our driver, was very quiet but courteous, and most important of all, he is an extraordinary driver. I felt safe every mile of those treacherous narrow roads in rain, fog and all conditions. John is one skilled driver! I could not have been more impressed with this team. This was my first trip with Gate1 and it won't be my last!

Our 12-day Kaleidoscope tour of Ireland in June 2023 was everything my husband and I hoped for. The itinerary was well planned and hit all the key sites we wanted to see and more! There are so many positive things I could comment on: the warm friendly Irish people, the cooler weather, and the hotels with their Irish Breakfasts. We loved the drives through the beautiful countryside and our driver Damien always got us safely and timely to our destinations. Also, our Gate1 tour guide Lenny was full of historical and informative information about Ireland. He was also very entertaining, teaching us local songs and going along with whoever was up for additional walking tours and visiting local establishments in the evenings. The additional tour guides were top rate too. Overall, I have to say, I waited 27 years to make a trip to Ireland and I was not disappointed! I want to plan another Gate1 tour!

I feel the need to let you know how absolutely thrilled we were with this, our first ever, Gate 1 tour experience. We began with a small group tour and we are not sure we will ever be able to choose anything but that in the future. We lucked out with the 13 people on our particular tour (Irish Culture) and the group gelled unbelievably well. We have even communicated a bit since the end of our trip. We all agreed that none of us could imagine a better tour guide than Sheila and feel so fortunate to have had her with us. She is extremely knowledgeable and so much fun! Sheila took care of us like we were her children! She was quick to offer suggestions for places to visit, dine, and/or shop in our "free" time. If we had a question, curiosity, or need...Sheila was on it! She could tell our group really began to embrace our time together and attempted to foster that by sometimes not interrupting our lively conversations, BUT we loved ALL she had to share, so we quickly told her we wanted her to interrupt us! We also loved our driver, Arvydas, and enjoyed the dynamic between the two of them as a team. We felt quite safe with Arvydas and his "master steerology" (another Sheila-ism). We loved all of the accommodations and most every tour activity. We ate delicious food and experienced warm hospitality. My husband and I had not yet been to Europe and therefore had a tad bit of pre-travel angst. However, we saw there was no need for this, as Gate 1 had everything so well planned and handled. Thank you again for a most memorable experience. We look forward to traveling with you in the future.

I just wanted to write to let you know that my recent Discovery trip to Ireland was amazing! We had such a great time and our guide, Matthew was excellent! Not only was he knowledgeable, informative, thoughtful and funny but he had prepared lots of extra surprises for our group throughout the trip. He arranged an impromptu hurling demonstration, and stops at beautiful Inch Beach, all along the Wild Atlantic Way and at a random county sign for one of the folks whose family is from the area. He also provided local snacks, played music related to each region and told stories along the way. He went out of his way to make the trip enjoyable and memorable!

The Ireland trip was super! Ali, our tour manager was the best! Everyone in my group loved Gate 1.

Khristiene was an excellent guide and went above and beyond throughout our tour. She gave us such an excellent understanding of Ireland, its traditions and history. She loves Ireland and her pride and love for her country were apparent. She was also an excellent storyteller and had great humor and personality. She had wonderful connections and relationships wherever we went.

I wanted to make sure that you know what a great team Jon & Jim made. They were what made the trip so wonderful. As they had not worked together as a team before, they were wonderful together. Both were friendly, courteous, and engaging. They had a lot of energy to make sure we were always aware of times to meet, where to be, handling of our luggage, getting our room keys, etc. It was enjoyable to have them as our guide and driver, kuddos to your staff for putting them together as a team, as it made the trip even better than it was.

We recently returned from our 14 Day England, Scotland and Ireland tour completing our 14th trip with Gate 1 Travel! Like the other trips, this one was a good value and provided us a comprehensive visit to the UK. Our tour guide, David did a fine job of keeping our group on schedule and well-informed about what to expect at each step along the way. He was knowledgeable and shared a lot of historical anecdotes with a bit of humor keeping the group interested and engaged. Our coach driver Joe was proficient and flexible- altering planned routes when needed at the direction of local guides. Each of the local guides were knowledgeable and articulate in showing us around their respective cities. Our hotels were conveniently located- especially the Tower Hotel in London on the River Thames at the foot of the Tower Bridge and adjacent to The Tower of London. We found the Glen Keen Sheep Farm peat harvesting and sheep dog demonstrations quite interesting along with tea, scones and Irish music following. We'll long remember our final night at Taylor's Three Rock with a fine dinner and lots of Irish music and dancing. We look forward to our next adventure with Gate 1 Travel.

This was our first trip with Gate 1. We are elated! I meant to write to Gate 1, anyway, to praise the experience and convey our appreciation of our guide and driver, Sheila and Martin, resp. Sheila is tireless, absolutely organized, keeping us on-schedule and motivated. Her extensive knowledge of history, life experiences, and humor made for educating, entertaining, perceptive commentary. We did not expect to fill our days, everyday, so well. As I wrote to a friend during the trip: "you know you're having a great time when you think it's already Friday, but it's only Wednesday." Sheila is a treasure. Martin, too, a stalwart purveyor of safety, impeccable driving skill and the occasional display of dry wit. He kept the coach spotless. The duo made the days spent together more special for us. We enjoyed the itinerary, the lack of blatantly 'touristy' stops (we were warned off the Blarney stone by friends) and the emphasis on history. Or experiences. Of note are the stops at the museum in Foynes, the raptor ranch and the sheep dog demonstration... outstanding! Unlike other vendors, we were never pushed into sites solely to offer shopping opportunities. We didn't go to Ireland to shop. The only place we would have liked to venture to that wasn't on the list was the Giant's Causeway; we enjoy natural wonders more than man-made. The selection of hotels was unexpected in the best of ways: all are very high grade with large, spotless, comfortable rooms and above average dining; well beyond our experiences in much of Europe on other tours. I could go on but it's better to simply acknowledge that we are very impressed with Gate 1 and are planning to avail ourselves of your services in the future. Again, our gratitude to our most excellent guide, Sheila: we left loving her and, because of her, Ireland.

Our trip was wonderful. We had a great tour guide who went WAY above and beyond. She facilitated some extra requests by my husband. Sheila, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. She helped find specific items by finding what shops to look for. She planned a couple of extra side trips, which made the trip even more memorable. John, our driver was a delight. He had us on a schedule that got our group to places a little early so we could explore a little more before the event we were going to. John is a organized and thoughtful person. 1 day while we were on a tour, he took our luggage to the hotel ahead of our arrival, so our luggage was already in our room when we arrived at the hotel. We could tell that John and Sheila have worked together before, they were a great team and seemed to gel well together. Thank you for a lifetime experience. I wish there was a way to request specific tour guides and drivers for the next trip.

The overall trip was excellent. As expected, Ireland delivered in terms of beauty, charm, and fun! The services provided through Gate 1 were also exceptional. From the time we first booked the trip, until we came home, we were well taken care of and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our tour guide, Patrick was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the area and managed to field dozens of questions, without missing a beat. His anecdotes and jokes helped to instill confidence and added to the overall camaraderie of the group. I would love to take another tour with him as my tour guide. John was the driver for the duration of the tour. He negotiated and navigated challenging roads easily and safely. I always felt safe a confident with his driving skills. This was my first Gate 1 experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The value of the trip was well worth the reasonable cost. I will not hesitate to take another trip with you! Our 10 Day Classic Ireland trip was absolutely fabulous! It was truly a trip of a lifetime. Gate1 transportation was waiting for us as soon as we stepped off the plane and delivered us promptly to our hotel where our luggage was taken and stored for us. Our lovely tour guide Khristiene greeted us and welcomed us with coffee, tea and pastries. Our group arrived early in the day so we wanted to get out and see Dublin before our evening welcome dinner. Khristiene placed a call and got our group of 10 tickets to tour the Guinness Storehouse so off we went. She made it so easy for us! From the moment we arrived Khristiene answered every question we had and went above and beyond to personally make recommendations and reservations for us. Her knowledge of Ireland and her storytelling talents were unbelievable!! George, our coach driver was the best! He always had a smile on this face and a kind word for his passengers. I felt confident and safe in his driving through the narrow, winding roads of Ireland, especially Ring of Kerry. Each day was filled to the brim with experiences on our planned itinerary and many additions that were surprises (tailored to what our group had expressed interest in) by Khristiene. We enjoyed all of the cities we visited, especially Galway, Waterford, and Killarney. All of our hotels were clean and offered a full breakfast buffet. My personal favorite parts included in the itinerary were hiking to the top of The Cliffs of Moher, touring the Waterford Crystal factory, visiting Blarney Castle and Gardens and kissing the Blarney Stone and shopping at Blarney Woolen Mills. I also enjoyed the optional experiences. We attended the Gaelic Roots Show and Jaunting Cart ride in Killarney. This is our second Gate1 trip and we are already looking forward to our third in October.

Matthew is an excellent tour guide. His organizational and personal skills were outstanding. He made a personal connection with each traveler. The stop at the Molena Farm, Atlantic Sheepdog demonstration, and along the shores of NW Ireland will leave a lasting impression. Ireland is beautiful. The experiences I will cherish. The narrow Irish roads, full of cows!, weren't even a challenge for David our bus driver. He was excellent & always professional. He sings pretty well too.

I just wanted to say that Lenny was an amazing guide. He is very personable, professional and knowledgeable. He definitely made this trip an outstanding experience. Damion, our bus driver was amazing. He handled the bus on those very narrow roads expertly. He was also a joy to be around. Thank you for having such exemplary staff!
